Emotionally hijacked.
I’ve only had it happen a handful of times.
Last night and tonight are two of them.
We must be better than we are. We must dig deep, past the anger, shame, denial and fear. We must find a way to learn and grow from the obscenity of this time in history.
It’s too easy to blame and point fingers. This is systemic and must be unlearned.
The only way to change it is to do the work. It begins with me.
We must find a way to come together or we will continue to kill one another.
Murder is wrong. Stand up. Speak up. To say nothing says something.
